VNA2-ELD Adapter Released

March 31, 2016, Terre Haute, IN – Simma Software, Inc. announced today the release of their new low-cost, high-performance, Electronic Logging Device (ELD) vehicle adapter, the VNA2- ELD. The VNA2-ELD hardware is designed to be used in conjunction with an approved ELD software application so that fleets will be in compliance with the recently released ELD mandate.

“We are coming to market with a very robust, low-cost solution,” said Patrick Browne, Director of Business Development at Simma Software. “The VNA2-ELD is built on a hardware platform that we have had considerable success with in the market already. Whether it is our AOBRD hardware, or other VNA devices we have provided to fleet service managers, we bring to the table considerable hardware expertise combined with second-to-none vehicle network knowledge.”

The VNA2-ELD comes with a dual-mode Bluetooth radio that supports standard Bluetooth communications as well as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). As a result, the VNA2-ELD hardware works with both Android and iOS devices.
