Donation to University of California, Irvine

March 7, 2012, Terre Haute, IN – Today Simma Software, Inc. donated software and support services to the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. They gave a gift-in-kind of software including their J1939 protocol stack and a CAN device driver for Microchip’s dsPIC33 microcontroller. Along with the software, the firm included one year of support and 10 hours of consulting. The support and consulting allowed for students and professors to make inquiries regarding the software functionality. With this donation, Simma Software hoped to give back to the software engineering profession and inspire future software engineers.
