    Sending the log to Simma:
    
    
      
  1. Connect, let it record while the problem happens, then click Save log file.

  2. The file lands in your Downloads folder, named like vna-j1939-log-20260930-141502.txt.

  3. Attach it to an email to Simma Software.
    4. 
    

    Works in Chrome, Edge, or Opera on desktop. First time, pick Choose a COM port…;
    the Windows dialog lists each adapter with its COMx number. Close any other program using the port first.
