January 5, 2015, Terre Haute, IN – Simma Software, Inc. announced today new offerings to their growing list of software solutions for OEM’s, fleets, and service providers in the heavy duty and commercial vehicle market. A software protocol stack for XCP, or Universal Measurement and Calibration Protocol, is now available.

“XCP is the successor to CCP, or CAN calibration protocol”, according to JR Simma, Founder and Director of Engineering. “Expanding our software library to include the XCP protocol was a natural addition as many of our automotive customers are using networks other than CAN for their transport layer.”
